Included as part of a group of Mid C19 buildings in important early development on sea front of planned Victorian resort of Llandudno. Group value with adjacent listed buildings.
Group Description
Nos 2-5 North Parade, Llandudno
Hotel. Stucco, with rusticated ground floor; slate roof; sash glazing. Three window front of four storeys over basement. Cornice with modillions and dentils, frieze with quatrefoils. On third floor, 3 square headed windows with architraves. On second floor, 3 camber-headed windows with shoulder-headed architraves; stringcourse at sill level. On first floor, central window of paired round-headed lights with pilasters and cornices. Outer bays have splayed bay windows which run down to basement level; on first floor, central light camber-headed and side lights round-headed; square-headed lights on floors below; modillion cornice over ground floor windows. Steps up to central doorway with engaged columns, brackets, cornice rising to form pediment.
