History
Mid-to-late C19. Shares some detailing with adjacent marine Hotel. The attic level is probably a later development.
Exterior
Former pair now one block. Three storeys plus attic and basement. Sash glazing. Six window front. Smooth render, slate mansard roof with brick chimneys; dentil cornice. Each 3-window half symmetrical. At attic level a single-light dormer is flanked by 2-light dormers. At second floor level, single-light window flanked by paired windows. At first floor level central round-headed sash window with flanking pilasters and cornice above. To each side, splayed bay window descends to basement level; sash glazing (but replaced in centre of ground floor). Steps up to central doorway with flanking columns; modern door. Balustraded dwarf wall to basement area.

Group value with Marine Hotel.
