History
Early C19, probably formerly a shop. The Lower Church Street range does not appear on map of 1801.
Exterior
Cottage, attached at one side. Of painted brick with roughcast upper frontage to road; pantile roof behind high parapet. Masked gable-end frontage, extending to rear in two wings. Two storeys. First floor front window is 2/4 pane sash, ground floor has small- pane segmental bow window with simple wood doorcase to left under shallow hood extending over bay. Long side elevation giving onto passage has segmental-arched sash window with narrow glazing bars and 6-panelled door.
