About 300m north west of Penperlleni.
History
A small mid C19 house in the picturesque manner which is possibly one of the improvements to the Pontypool Park estate undertaken in the 1840s by Capel Hanbury Leigh (owner 1795-1861). A rear wing was added to the house in c1900 and it has not been changed externally since. The Mamhilad portion of the Pontypool Park estate was sold in 1926.
Exterior
The original portion of the house is wholly rendered and painted over local rubble stone, the rear wing is red brick, Welsh slate roofs. One storey and attic with a two bay central entrance front to the road and a full two storeys to the later rear wing. The road elevation has a modern panelled door flanked by 10 + 10 small paned casements. These are all under a full width five bay pent verandah on six timber posts with lateral bracing making five 4-centred arches. Two large dormers with small paned casements with dripmoulds over. Plain bargeboards, curled ceramic finials. Two flue stack to right gable. The left gable is blind, the right gable has an upper floor casement. The gabled rear wing has 2 over 2 pane sashes and an end stack.

Included as an attractive picturesque farmhouse which, despite an addition, retains its original character.
