History
Probably C17 though altered and modernised. Share same eaves and roof line as attached number 6. The large upper windows in the gables may indicate former use for storage.
Exterior
Pair of small houses, attached at each side. Walls of white-painted rubble; slate roof with tall brick corniced stack. Two storeys, three-window range of 2- light casements; gables over each upper storey window creating 3 half dormers. Two square-headed plain doors with plain wooden hoods. Number 7 is one-bay wide and number 8 is two-bays wide.
Reason for designation
Listed as early housing partially retaining its character. Group value with adjacent listed buildings.
