No 27A: extends south from south return of No 27. On the main road about 100m north of the Church of St. Mary.
History
A small mid C19 villa in Tudor style having group value with the adjoining No 27.
Exterior
Stuccoed two storey two-bay front with gables with curvilinear bargeboards over first foor windows. Rusticated quoins. Welsh slate roof. Across the ground floor, a tented verandah on iron trellised supports; doorway and sidelights to left hand; triple sash to right hand. The first floor has two 2-light casements with 4 x 2 small panes and dripmoulds over, each window with gable over. Twin gabled roof with cross finials and two stacks with weathered tops on rear wall. Side elevations plain, rear elevation not seen.
Interior
Interior not seen at resurvey (November 2001).
Reason for designation
Included as a mid C19 villa of character having group value with No 27 next door.
