Location
Facing Pabo Lane SSW of Pabo Hall, approximately 1.6km NE of Llandudno Junction.
History
Entrance to the former stable yard (now converted to a dwelling known as The Coach House). Probably of 1885, the date of the S archway, and contemporary with the rebuilding of Pabo Hall, which had a fireplace dated 1885, now at Castle Hotel, Deganwy.
Exterior
An archway under a stepped gable, of rock-faced stone with tooled-stone dressings and coping. The basket arch has a single order of chamfer and a thick impost band. The apex retains a pinnacle base. Attached are rubble-stone walls of the former yard.
Reason for designation
Listed as a gateway of definite late C19 architectural character, and for group value with other listed items associated with Pabo Hall.
