Circa 1900 in this form. A photo dated 1875 shows a 2-storey, 3 window house in this position. The current enlarged building may incorporate parts of the older building.

Group Description
No 16 (Water's Edge) & 16A (Orme Lodge), North Parade, Llandudno
Attached pair of houses. Three storeys and attic. Four bays in all. Each house with slate gabled roof with crested ridge tiles. Each house with 2 dormers. Front walls with roughcast cladding. On second floor, each house with 2 oriel bay windows supported on wooden brackets and each with a gable with bargeboard; the wider windows of three lights and the narrower of two. On the first floor, the first and third bays from south end each have a sash window with shouldered architrave with corbel heads; the second and fourth bays each have a canted three-light bay window descending to ground level. In both first and third bays from south end on ground floor, there is an ornate square-headed doorway, with half-glazed panelled door.
