Late C19 lamp standard; Ambassador Hotel was formerly The Brinkburn.

Later C19. Cast-iron lamp standard similar to hose on the Promenade and in Mostyn Street. Circular shaft widening at the top, modern lamp holder; circular moulded base ornately decorated with bead and cable moulding, foliage motifs etc.
