History
Barn of uncertain date, possibly C17 in origin. Marked on 1839 Tithe Map.
Exterior
Barn, rubble stone with slate close-eaved roof. Boulder foundations. Large long range with W front centre door with timber lintel, 4 short loops each side to ground floor, first floor boarded large loft opening each side, each flanked by single loops. S end has 3 loops to lower level, dripcourse under gable. E side is obscured by C20 additions but has centre doorway with cambered head and stone voussoirs to arch. 4 loops each side divided into 2 pairs by a blocked window and 3 blocked loops each side at higher level.
Interior
Earlier C20 7-bay pine roof, replaced after a fire. Splayed reveals to loops.
Reason for designation
Included as a substantial stone barn possibly of the later C17 or C18.
