The bridge carries the road from Efailnewydd over the Afon Rhyd-hir into the N part of Pwllheli, forming the boundary of the communities of Llannor and Pwllheli.
History
Probably built in 1775.
Exterior
Built of rubble stonework. A single arch spanning approximately 4m, rising 2.4m above the river, formed with well shaped stone voussoirs slightly set back under the flush rubble spandrels. The spandrels rise to high parapet walls 48cm thick, coped with granite blocks, and which delimit the 5.4 wide carriageway across the causeway.
Reason for designation
Included as a well formed later C18 road bridge.
