History
Early C19, later Georgian. No 47 was opened as a tavern in 1864.
Exterior
Pair of 3 storey, 2 window scribed render fronts with hipped slate roof rubble chimney stacks and small pane sash windows (horned to No 49). Modern shop fronts, Victorian style to No 47. Raised lettering between 1st and 2nd floors. Rounded corner to right with splayed side elevation set in the slope down to Kings Head Street. Some small pane sash windows to rear.
