Spanning the Afon Alaw, the boundary between the parishes of Llanddeusant and Llantrisant, Pont Hafren carries the country road between the villages of the same name; c850m SSE of the Church of St Marcellus and St Marcellinus in Llanddeusant.
Exterior
C18 road bridge spanning the Afon Alaw, the boundary between the parishes of Llanddeusant and Llantrisant. Built of rubble masonry with main arch and with small arch to W of roughly dressed voussoirs slightly inset below extrados course of narrow slabs. Rough parapet.
Reason for designation
Included as a good, well-preserved, C18 road bridge.
