One of a pair of houses midway up stepped terraced row on W side.
Exterior
Circa 1850 terraced house, painted roughcast, slate roof and rendered N end stack. Basement and two-storey two-window range, two 12-pane sashes above, one 8-pane below, with vertical glazing bars only, iron area grille below. Door to right with two slate steps, three-panel door, arched head and fanlight with radiating and scalloped tracery over modillion cornice.
Reason for designation
Included as a pair with No 20 which has retained much of the original character in a heavily altered row.
Group value with Nos 19 to 33 (odd) opposite.
