Pair of late C18 or early C19 houses.
Exterior
No 17 has scribed rendered 2-window front with doorway roughly to its centre. 12-pane hornless sash windows throughout. Reproduction doorcase with tall fluted pilasters; re-instated 6-panelled door with rectangular overlight. Gabled dormer to rear.

Group Description
Nos 17 & 18 Bridge Street
Pair of houses. Three storeys, three windows in all. Rendered, with end pilaster strips and plinth. Slate roof with lower ridge than in No 16; paired bracket eaves. Plain window openings; small-pane sash windows, three panes wide. Rear in exposed stone with brick dressings. Tall round-headed staircase windows with small-pane glazing.
