Bears date 1754; restored in late C20.
Exterior
Stone well-house. Rectangular plan. Roof formed from stone courses rising from wall heads to pointed apex. Square-headed doorway with large lintel in centre of southern side with rebates to jambs. Inscription in L jamb "WW 1754". Rough steps down into vaulted well house. Small outlet for water in L return wall to rectangular pool with stone surround. Winding channel lined with stone carries water down to a pond.
Reason for designation
Elaborate mid C18 well-house.
