No.7 appears to have modern small-pane glazing imitating No.8.
Reason for designation
A pair of well-preserved early C19 houses retaining overall late Georgian character. Group Value both with rest of the terrace and with other listed buildings in The Watton.
Group Description
Nos.7 & 8 The Watton
A three-storey, five-bay street facade of painted brick with stuccoed end pilasters, first floor band, plinth, rusticated architraves and keystones to window openings, and stuccoed doorways with bracketed cornices. Slate roof; projecting eaves; brick stack to L only. Each house of two bays width. Doorways in inner bays; six-panelled doors with rectangular fanlights with tracery. In centre bay, only opening is carriageway on ground floor; 3-centred arch, boarded double doors.
