3 storey and cellar, 3 window, Flemish bond brick block. Hipped slate roof. Blocking course and plain cornice. Bargeboarded gables to rear. Plain brick stacks. Shallow 6 pane sashes to 2nd floor windows. 12 pane sashes to 1st floor. Slightly cambered gauged brick voussoirs. Plain reveals, stone sills. Good Regency shop unit to No 47. Crested cornice over multipaned bowed front with recessed doorway to centre. Side bars to "reveals", diamond fanlight. Brick stallrisers, stone steps. Modern front to Castle Vaults.
Gauged brick voussoirs and sash windows to rear elevations.
