Located above Llwynmawr village on a sharp bend where the road crosses the Nant Iorwerth. The house is slightly set back from the road.
History
Early C19 house shown on the Tithe map of 1839.
Exterior
Two-storey 3-window house, the openings all offset slightly to the R. Constructed of dressed random stone, repointed, under a slate roof with stone end stacks. Central entrance reached by stone steps, with round-arched head of stone voussoirs, containing replaced boarded door with ribs and replaced fanlight. The windows are 16-pane hornless sashes with wedge lintels. Rear not seen.
Interior
No access to interior at time of inspection.
Reason for designation
Listed for retention of C19 character, notwithstanding alteration to detail.
