Location
To the south side of the village road about 300 m from the south-east end of the Vyrnwy Dam.
History
One of a pair of cottages forming a group with nos. 1-4 but of later (post-1900) date, though designed in consistent style; additional workers housing for the village constructed to serve the Vyrnwy Reservoir.

Group Description
Nos. 5&6 Glyndu
A pair of symmetrically planned cottages in irregularly coursed slate with a slate roof. The cottages have a shared rendered chimney stack to the centre and doors to the outside (on the gable ends), thus tending to conform to the inter-war universal plan type.
Each cottage has a pair of small-pane casement windows above in a through-eaves dormer, and a triplet of similar casements below. Door at side with a lean-to canopy on brackets, that at right enclosed.
