Located c1km SE of Llanfair, in an isolated rural location at the end of a private track off a narrow country road which branches NE off the road which in turn branches NE off the A496 at Pont Pen-y-sarn-hir; to rear of range NNE of the house.

History
Probably late C19 haybarn, re-roofed in later C20.
Exterior
Open sided haybarn built of rubble masonry; slate roof with vented ridge. The barn is of 3 bays articulated by square columns. The W gable has a wide doorway with a cambered arch of stone voussoirs; a pitching hole is set in the gable apex.
Interior
The roof has sawn timber trusses with angled struts.
Reason for designation
Listed as a good C19 haybarn which forms a group with the farmhouse and other buildings at the upland farmstead at Llwyn Hwlcyn.
