History
Said to be dated 1739 on an internal beam and the oldest surviving building at the farm. It is shown on the 1842 Tithe map.  

Exterior
A lofted rubble-stone farm building with slate roof. Its gable end has double boarded doors under a wooden lintel, with loft opening above. On the R (downhill) side is an added brick lean-to, and on the L (uphill) side is a corrugated iron outshut. In the rear gable end 2 flues have been cut into the stonework, possibly associated with a former attached building.

Listed as a well-preserved C18 farm building and for group value with the house and multi-purpose farm building.
