In an isolated rural location at the head of the Afon Cwmnantcol valley. The cartshed is to SE of the S end of the house and attached agricultural range.

Probably C18 or early C19.
Exterior
Small cartshed of boulder construction; grouted slate roof with stone copings. The shed is of 2-bays, open to NW, the bays divided by a tall stone slab pillar.
Reason for designation
Included as a well detailed small rural cartshed which forms a group with the farmhouse and other agricultural buildings at Maes-y-garnedd.
