Location
Slightly set back from the W side of the country road which leads up the Afon Artro Valley. The outbuilding is adjacent to the cowhouse directly to SW of the house at Crafnant.

History
Probably C18 outbuilding, re-roofed in C20. The building was used as surgery by the owner of the farmstead in mid C19, Dr Owen.
Exterior
Small outbuilding of coursed rubble masonry including large stones as quoins and lintels. The roof is now of profiled sheeting but retains stone slab copings. There is a single doorway in the SE wall and a small window (now blocked) in the apex of the SW gable.
Reason for designation
Included as a little altered outbuilding which forms a group with the farmhouse and other agricultural buildings which go to form the complete farmstead at Crafnant.
