History
Lime kiln, probably early C19, built into a bank at the edge of the road.
Exterior
Lime kiln, square plan, built into a bank at the edge of the road with walls of thin slabs of rubble stone. One large kiln-eye on the NW side, slightly offset to right, with segmental arch with dressed stone voussoirs. Crucible is partially infilled.
Reason for designation
Included as a well-preserved C19 lime-kiln, of historical interest and now rare in the region.
