Group Description
Nos. 3 & 4 Cardiff Road
Pair of low two-storey cottages with walls of stone rubble with heads of upper windows at eaves level; ground floor openings with chambered heads of brick. No 3 has lean-to outshut to right hand; in main part of house, doorway with ledged door and modern gabled hood to right hand; to left hand, outward opening window three panes wide both above and below. No 4 has two outward opening windows three panes wide both above and one to left hand below; doorway with ledged door and rough wood trellis porch with gabled hood. All windows are now c1990 3 x 3 pane top opening casements. Low pitch Welsh slate roof with two rebuilt red brick stacks. Rear elevation with small outshuts.
