Full Report for Listed Buildings
The list description is not intended to be a complete inventory of what is listed: it is principally intended to aid identification. By law, the definition of a listed building includes the entire building (i) and any structure or object that is fixed to the said building and ancillary to it and (ii) any other structure or object that forms part of the land and has done so since before 1 July 1948, and was within the curtilage of the building, and ancillary to it, on the date on which said building was first included in the list, or on 1 January 1969, whichever was later.

An C18 storage barn, adapted for livestock.
Exterior
A barn in local handmade brick, on a stone plinth, with six lozenge shaped air vents at front (south) and four above and three below at rear; two similar vents above and below in the gable ends. Slate roof with tile ridge, the west bay restored. Later sheds adjacent at each end. Four doors at front and one door plus one window at rear, with brick arches. Four high level hatches at rear.
Interior
Six bays with box-framed cross framing.
Reason for designation
Originally, a fine barn providing an extensive example of the use of a fine local red brick, listed also for group value with Domen Gastell farmhouse.
Following inspection, it is understood that the partial collapse of this barn in August 2022 and the subsequent demolition of the upper storey has resulted in significant loss of historic fabric. It is considered that the character and significance of the listed building has been irrevocably lost, and therefore delisting is the appropriate course of action.
