Location
Situated in Brynafan hamlet some 2.3 km E of Llanafan, the hamlet just N of road.
History
Smaller earlier C19 house of traditional type.
Exterior
House, whitewashed rubble stone with slate close-eaved roof and painted brick end stacks. Two storeys, double fronted and offset to left. Two small paired casement windows above, under eaves, with renewed slate sills. Two 4-pane horned sashes probably late C19 or early C20 with slate sills each side of 4-panel door, all with stone voussoirs. Rubble stone left end wall. Single storey double-fronted cottage or outbuilding to right also whitewashed with slate roof, 4-pane sash left, half-glazed door centre and small casement right.
Interior
Not inspected at time of survey.
Reason for designation
Included as a vernacular cottage of traditional type, becoming rare in area.
