Reason for designation
Listed for its special interest as a small late Georgian terrace which has retained much of its character.

Nos.7-13 Baron Street (Odd Nos.)
Terrace of four cottages. Rubble-fronted; slate roof with overhanging bracketed boarded eaves and two long and narrow corniced brick stacks, across the ridge to the left pair and at end to the right pair. Symmetrical 2-storey frontage. Two-window range of 12-pane sashes, horned to Nos. 11 and 13; windows and doors have stone voussoirs and are set back. Nos. 9 and 11 have C20 gabled porches and No. 13 has a C20 door but No. 7 retains its original 6-panel door. No. 7 also retains the stone kerb to former forecourt railings; C20 forecourt walls to Nos. 9 to 13. Cement-rendered right hand gable end and part rendered part painted brick to rear with dog-legged roof to No. 7. Artificial slate roof to No. 11 rear.
