Location
Located at right angles to the farmhouse and forming the SW side of the yard.
History
Probably C18; a barn with attached stable.
Exterior
Long range of rubble stone on boulder footings under a corrugated metal roof. Part of the front wall has been rebuilt in narrow slate blocks. Entrance to barn to R of centre with split doors; boarded hatch to its L, small low opening to its R. To far L are split doors, probably to a stable. Added bay to L end, set back with partly open front including split doors. To the rear is a single doorway opposite the barn entrance.
Interior
Interior is 4-bay with pegged tie-beam trusses. Barn to R-hand 3 bays with central through-passage and partition on L side.
Reason for designation
Included as a traditional farm building which forms a group with Poesnant Farmhouse.
