Road bridge E of Crossway
Location
Spanning the River Edw approximately 1km N of Cregrina, carrying a minor road between Hundred House and Glascwm.
History
Built in the C18 or early C19 and shown on the 1837 and 1839 Tithe maps.
Exterior
A single-carriageway, humped-back road bridge of rubble stone, partly rebuilt on the R (W) bank. A single segmental arch has narrow voussoirs. The parapet is coped and partly renewed in late C19 freestone, terminating in square piers with pyramidal cement caps.
Reason for designation
Listed for its special historic interest as a well-preserved road bridge of regional character.
