History
Built in 1845 as the National School; closed 1953.  

Exterior
Single storey coursed rubble former school building with hipped slate roof and wide boarded eaves; chimneys removed. Freestone dressings including quoins, voussoirs and plinth. Central gabled porch with 4 centred arch entrance with doubled boarded doors. 4-light transomed windows to either side. Smaller but similar porch to right in set back range. 2-window 1 1/2 storey school house set back to left and gabled dormers and modern casement windows; modern door to left. Central plaque reading "National School AD 1845". Rubble rear twin gabled cross ranges to main building.
