History
Mid C19 lychgate, dated 1857.
Exterior
Built of course stonework with sandstone dressings; steeply pitched slate roof with stone coping and weathered gable finials. The entrance has a pointed arch with chamfered jambs and hoodmould and there is a shaped finial at each corner of the roof. To front (facing the road to E) there is a stone at the apex that bears the initials and date: G D / __57, over a stone that has a repeating circular motif. To rear the circular motif is repeated with the initials G D above and a cross motif in the stone at the gable apex.
Reason for designation
Included as a good mid C19 lychgate that forms a group with the adjacent Church of St. Enddwyn.
