History
Mid Cl9 lodge to Plas Machynlleth; shown on lst edition OS map as North Lodge.
Exterior
Single storey and attic; coursed rubble, slate roofs, one blue brick stack and one rendered brick stack. L-shaped main roof at 2-window front; gable to left has cusped bargeboards and pendant (finial broken) with 3-light casement windows, small pane to upper floor. Similar attic window to right in flat roof slate hung dormer; roof dog-legged below over later entrance extension; modern rendering to base. The front has door with sunburst glazing beside 3-light window with leaded panes; similar 2-light window around the corner. Gothic attic window to the NE gable with similar bargeboard detail (also continues down over the lean-to); 2-light window with Tudor label to ground floor; 2-light windows also to longer SW side and to NW (rear) with similar detail to the gable which retains finial; tall stack at rear.
