Included for its special architectural interest as a terrace of early C19 houses with definite character, having strong group value in Hereford Road.
Group Description
Nos. 6-10 (even) Hereford Road
Rendered fronts, probably over brick with Welsh slate roofs. Double depth plan with entry to the right for Nos. 6 and 10 and the left for No. 8. Three storeys, two windows to No. 6 and one each to others. Shared hoods over paired doorways at Nos. 2 with 4 (qv) and 6, and Nos. 8 and 10. Six-panel doors at Nos. 6, 8 and 10, plank door to No. 2 with 4. The windows are 2 over 2 pane sashes recessed in segmental openings. The top floor ones are smaller. Moderate pitch roof with red brick ridge stacks.
