The east garden wall at the rear of No.56 Monnow Street and fronting the public car-park.
History
Probably early/mid C18 and contemporary with the house, but in character looks older.
Exterior
Built of random limestone rubble with a triangular coping. The wall is about 50m in length and 3m in height.
Reason for designation
Included for its special interest as an historic wall associated with one of the finest individual houses in the Monmouth town centre.
