History
Early C19 group which was probably all built together, but note the different windows on the upper floor at either end of the terrace.

Two windows. Modern part glazed door to right.

Reason for designation
Included for its special architectural interest as a small early C19 terrace and as a part of the important group of historic buildings in the suburb of Overmonnow.  

Group Description
Nos. 37-41 (odd) Drybridge Street Roughcast rendered and painted fronts with Welsh slate roofs with red brick stacks; three pilaster bands on The Britannia Inn. Broken fronted terrace, with one canted (No. 37), one L-shaped (The Britannia Inn) and one plain (No. 41). Two storeys, six windows in all. All windows are double hung sashes with 6 over 6 glazing bars except for the upper three on the left which are 3 over 6 panes. Various doors. Plain low pitch roofs with four stacks. Rear elevation not seen.
