Early C19 refronting and rebuilding of C17 building; rear wing formerly separate C17 timber-framed cottages.
Exterior
Two storey, two window shop, rendered front, slate roof. Second floor has two almost square windows with six-pane horned sash glazing, stone sills. On first floor, two twelve-pane horned sashes, stone sills. On ground floor, later C19 shopfront (altered) with central door (part glazed, with overlight) with shop window to each side; to ends, classically derived pilasters supporting fascia (modern fascia board), cornice over. Some exposed timber-framing in R gable. Rear wing incorporates former C17 cottages.
