Probably C17 in origin. Formerly known as Plas Coch and used as workhouse before building of Llanfyllin Union workhouse, still marked as 'workhouse' on
OS 1st Edition map, surveyed 1886, where it is divided as three properties.
Exterior
Timber-framed on tall stone plinth with gable ends partially in stone; square panels with short braces at eaves level. Slate roof with two red brick chimneys at ridge (L chimney larger); gabled dormer. Two modern doors to front, modern porch to R door. Modern casement glazing.
