History
Plain late Georgian cottage dating probably from the 1840s.
Exterior
Roughcast rendered and painted with a Welsh slate roof and red brick stack. Double depth plan with entry to right. Two storeys, two windows, all 3 over 6 pane sashes with stone cills. Plain doorway with 6-panel door under right hand window. Plain low pitch roof with stack to left gable.

Reason for designation
Included for its special interest as part of a group of well preserved historic buildings at the entrance to Abergavenny Castle.
