Location
On the east side of the A4052 in the centre of Llanover village.
History
Built c1925 as part of the development Tre-elidyr designed by Alfred Powell. It was built as a memorial to WWI and to the son of Lord Treowen and others of the village who died in the conflict. The building is externally little altered.
Exterior
Built of roughly squared rock faced local red sandstone rubble, with stone slate roofs. Plain C17 type Arts-and-Crafts manner. Single storey and attic, two storey L-shaped plan with a small service wing to both front and rear.
The visible elevation has its gable end to the main road. Single storey weatherboarded L-shaped wing to left with two 2-light small paned casements, this wing has the WC, coal store etc. The house gable end has a single window to each floor with drips over, stack on gable above. Single storey wing to right with small window. The other elevations are hidden from the road but they will have 2 and 3 -light windows, plank door, and dormers as other estate houses, small chimney on far gable.

Reason for designation
Included for its special interest as being a part of the planned additions to the Llanover Estate housing in the 1920s, which were designed by Alfred Powell and remain little altered in detail.
