Located towards the E end of Well Street, opposite the junction with Railway Terrace.
History
Shop with house over, similar to 59-61 Well Street and Railway Terrace; probably also c1864, and built in association with the Vale of Clwyd Railway.
Exterior
Tall 3-storey 2-window block constructed of red brick under a slate roof with brick end stacks. Modillion eaves cornice, stone sill bands to 1st and 2nd floors, stone plinth. Windows to 1st and 2nd floors have raised stone surrounds, the former with round-arched heads and keystones, containing horned sash windows without glazing bars; rectangular top-hung windows to 2nd floor. To ground floor, round-arched doorway to R, the surround of brick, containing a 4-panel door with plain-glazed fanlight. Shop front to L has half-glazed door under a tall overlight to R, and plain-glazed shop window to L, both articulated by plain pilasters with ringed capitals, supporting a dentilled cornice. East gable end is also 2-window 3-storey, with small-pane top-hung windows under segmental brick heads, except for uPVC window to upper L; ground floor has taller window to L and a blind window to R. To L, a modernised house adjoins the rear at right-angles.

Reason for designation
Listed for its retention of good consistent mid-C19 character and detail, probably associated with the Vale of Clwyd Railway. Group value with 59-61 Well Street and Railway Terrace.
