Situated towards the S end of the narrow part of Sycamore Street, immediately N of National Westminster Bank.
History
Illustrated in photograph of circa 1900 with stone stacks both ends and a
heavy pilastered doorcase with projecting cornice on carved brackets.
Exterior
Circa 1840-60 house, stucco-fronted rubble stone with low-pitched slate eaves roof and stone S end stack. Three-storey 3-window painted front with plain boarded eaves, 6-pane square upper windows, 12-pane first floor windows and tripartite 4-12-4-pane ground floor windows each side of centre door. Tripartite sashes have frosted and etched plate glass replacing glazing bars in lower halves.
Hipped rear stair tower.
