War memorial of First World War commemorating men of Blaenrhondda.
Exterior
An obelisk of granite part rock faced and part finely dressed and polished. On square concrete base with 2 stage battered plinth and base with 4 sides of part engraved part metal inscriptions in Welsh and English to heroes of Blaenrhondda 1914-1918, surmounted by a polished cornice and obelisk shaft.
The enclosure comprises 4 lengths of metal railings and gates consisting of closely spaced uprights with decorative supports, corners and gateposts with orb finials.
Reason for designation
Listed as a modest but effective monument of local significance.
