History
Associated with Thomas Lewis ( 1759-1842 ), Methodist Hymnist and Blacksmith who worked the adjacent smithy and who was a founder of nearby Esgairnant Chapel in 1806.  

Exterior
Mid/late C19. Single storey, small rubble built cart-house. Slate roof, projecting eaves. Elliptically-headed cart entry to left with dressed stone voussoirs (doors missing). Window to right with flat stone voussoired head and 6-light casement. Rubble rear lean-to. With its adjacent smithy, an attractive roadside group.
