History
Mid to later C19 range of outbuildings to Llandyfan, not marked on 1841 Tithe Map but marked on 1876 O.S. map. Apparently built as cow-house with lofted cartshed and stable, but cow-house said to have been tack-room and stable when listed in 1989.

Exterior
Range of outbuildings, apparently cow-house, cartshed and stable originally, disused 1998 and in poor condition. Rubble stone with slate roof, partly missing 1998. The front wall is of squared stone mixing grey limestone and purple Sawdde stone, tooled grey limestone dressings, quoins and voussoirs. The range is set on the slope and is lofted at the lower end, the upper end partly overlaps the barn. From left: two doors with heads at similar level, then one slightly lower, then another next to cambered-headed cart-entry, both lower again. Finally window and door with loft window above under eaves. Outside steps on end wall to loft door. All openings with stone voussoirs except loft window. Rear wall has two long vent loops to centre, one to right.

Interior
The end bay is divided off by a stone wall to wall-plate height, and has vent in rear wall. The next two doors open into cow-shed, the second door stepped down. Vent in rear wall. Full height internal end wall. Beyond that the cartshed of a single bay with whitewashed side walls, two vents in rear, and loft over. The lowest part was stabling probably of two loose-boxes, the floor of striated paving bricks survives. Pine collar trusses to roofs, loft at upper end extends over cartshed.

Reason for designation
Included as part of the three-sided farm yard behind Llandyfan, of group value with the barn at the upper end and the outbuilding opposite.
