History
Early C18, altered C19; house of the Prebendary of Saint Nicholas, on a site described by Edward Yardley ca1720-30 as having 'within these ten years, had a handsome new house of brick built upon, and has a neat garden on ye backside'.

Exterior
Roughcast clad two-storey, three-window house with nogged brick eaves, slate roof (grouted slate in 1981) and roughcast end stacks. 12-pane sashes in outer bays, narrower 8-pane sash to centre over half-glazed door with painted timber flat hood on brackets. Outshut roughcast rear with off-centre stair gable with 12-pane sash and apex small light. Attached to S is single storey range with grouted slate roof and centre stone stack, heightened in brick. Garage door, mounting block and door to front, two doors and window to rear.

Interior
Had (1981 list): panelled doors, corbelled roof in passage leading to service range (compare 37 Goat St), slate floored hall with staircase and flat balusters cut symmetrically. Fielded panelling to chimneybreast of upstairs south room.

Reason for designation
Probably built after Joseph Lord's 1720 map in Menevia Sacra which shows house of different plan. Group value.
