Running along the street frontage of the Cathedral Churchyard.

History
Probably early C19, but quite different in character and apparently older than the wall down to the west end of the Cathedral. John Speed in 1610 shows a stream running from St. Teilo's spring down both lines and no walls at all. A photograph of the Cathedral in c1855 shows the wall in place.
Exterior
Wall of local stone rubble with rough, rounded coping which runs from a point where it joins the garden wall to the rear of The White House downhill past the Cathedral. Interrupted by two gateways and by a stile of Radyr stone. It is about 1m in height.
Reason for designation
Included for group value with the Cathedral.
