To the west of the driveway to the Home Farm, immediately to the N ~f Ffordd Ffranc (the Dyserth Road)~
Built as a smithy etc. in the mid C19, partly serving as engine house for the operation of farm machinery, and now used as a grain store. Rough rubble with slate roofs. 2-storeyed, L-plan, with tall square section chimney projecting from SE corner. Main elevation faces N and has wide segmentally arched entrances to either side, with 3 segmentally arched windows between them. These openings have now all been partially infilled, associated with a change of use. Windows in E and S elevations with stone ci 115 and lintels.
A good surviving example of a mid Cl9 farm-building, of particular interest for its connection with powered machinery.
