On the street line, behind a dwarf garden wall.
Exterior
A 2-storey terrace of 3 cottages in early C20 Garden City style. Medium-pitched tile roof with part-rendered, part-brick stacks with simple mouldings and dentilation. Plain eaves with exposed rafters. Near symmetrical pebble-dashed facade with Ruabon brick plinth up to ground floor cill level. Slightly oversailing upper floor. Central storeyed and gabled porch (to No.4), coped, with ball finials and simple moulded kneelers. Moulded plaque in gable with date 1913 and returned label. Glazed oculus of 9 panes beneath with radiating Key stones. All detailing in reconstituted stone.
Entrance with flat, moulded canopy carried on moulded wooden brackets. 4-panel door, recessed and with the upper panels glazed. Flush, splayed buttresses flanking entrance to L and R. Flanking bays with projecting casement windows, those on the first floor of 12 panes, those on the ground floor tripartite with central 12-pane arched section, and flanking 6-pane sections. Heavily-moulded hoods throughout. Flanking to L and R at first floor level, large projecting gables carried on wooden brackets. Decorative timber framing with moulded eaves brackets and exposed purlins. Tripartite casement windows of 3x6 panes. Canted bays to ground floor with cross windows: 6 and 4 panes to top and 9 and 6 to bottom. Brick cills. To the R entrance to No 3, as before, though with modern door. Double casement above, as before. To the L No.5 with entrance and off-set window as before and double casement above.
3 rear gables to No.3, stepped-down, the last of which is single storey.
